Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy centered on Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan accelerates mana during the first four turns using land-search spells, cost reducers, and mana rocks. On Turn 5, casting Ureni triggers an immediate top-eight search to cheat a massive Dragon onto the battlefield. Threats like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames rapidly overwhelm life totals through evasion, double strike, and token production. The deck achieves lethal combat damage across the table by Turn 7. Its high Dragon density ensures Ureni consistently finds powerful targets. However, the deck carries almost no stack interaction or protective spells, leaving its large threats exposed to board wipes and targeted removal. When uninterrupted, its raw combat power and mana production outpace opposing boards.
