Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Bant Voltron build commanded by Rafiq of the Many. The central strategy accelerates into Rafiq on turn 3, attaches potent modifications such as Colossus Hammer, Steel of the Godhead, or Finest Hour, and leverages Rafiq's innate exalted and double-strike triggers to eliminate opponents in rapid succession starting on turn 4. Equip costs are bypassed using efficient enablers like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Puresteel Paladin, and Sigarda's Aid. A dense defensive suite protects the commander across multiple vectors, employing Grand Abolisher for turn silence, Mithril Coat and Heroic Intervention against removal, and Sigarda, Host of Herons to negate sacrifice effects. In games where Rafiq is suppressed, alternate beaters like Questing Beast and Heavenly Blademaster or the backup combo of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal provide reliable avenues to victory.
