Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color Dragon tribal deck commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's Eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells from the start of the game. An elite mana base featuring original dual lands, fetch lands, and fast artifact mana accelerates deployment into explosive mid-game turns. The deck focuses on landing game-altering enablers such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Temur Ascendancy, and Dragon Tempest to give Dragons immediate haste and duplicate their effects. Once established, explosive threats like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Old Gnawbone, and Atarka, World Render produce overwhelming amounts of mana, cards, and direct burn damage, commonly eliminating all three opponents around Turn 6. While vulnerable to well-timed mass exile sweepers, built-in ward, high toughness, and asymmetric wipes like Crux of Fate allow it to dominate creature-based combat tables.
