Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape. The deck's primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost spellcast pingers alongside Gandalf to convert every instant, sorcery, and noncreature spell into incremental, table-wide noncombat damage. In the early game, the deck establishes its mana and deploys pingers such as Firebrand Archer and Erebor Flamesmith. In the mid game, it accelerates damage output through amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation and token generators like Rite of the Dragoncaller. The interaction suite is heavily geared toward creature burn and sweeping boards with Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction. While the deck possesses strong functional redundancy in damage triggers and can rebuild quickly after removal, it lacks stack protection and enchantment answers, leaving it vulnerable to fast combo decks and heavy spot removal against its critical damage multipliers.
