Format: Commander

Commander: Kastral, the Windcrested

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kastral, the Windcrested leads a low-to-the-ground Azorius Bird flock that wins by overwhelming the table with evasive tokens. The deck spreads small fliers early, uses anthems such as Empyrean Eagle, Favorable Winds, and Murmuration to turn them into real threats, and leverages Kastral's combat trigger for card advantage, +1/+1 counters, or pseudo-recursion of Birds from the graveyard. A secondary path uses mass-token spells-Migratory Route, Falcon and Redwing, Skycat Sovereign-to go wide, while Rally of Wings and Akroma's Will close games. The commander is central but not the only engine, and no hidden commander is needed-Ishai simply adds another flying threat.
