Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive theft-control strategy in Mono-Black. It uses low-cost evasive creatures such as Changeling Outcast and Dauthi Voidwalker to deal combat damage and trigger Gonti, Night Minister. Each connection exiles cards from opponents libraries face down, allowing you to cast their spells using mana of any type. Casting stolen cards generates Treasure tokens, fueling a compounding mana engine that outpaces the table. High-impact attrition pieces like Grim Hireling, Opposition Agent, and Tergrid, God of Fright punish opposing strategies while converting stolen threats into insurmountable board advantage. The deck closes games around Turn 9 using persistent combat pressure, life loss from Brainstealer Dragon, and game-ending spells like Rise of the Dark Realms or Revel in Riches.
