Deck overview

This Bant value-engine deck leverages Derevi, Empyrial Tactician's unique ability to enter from the command zone at instant speed and untap/tap permanents on combat damage. The primary game plan is to generate overwhelming mana and card advantage through flicker and untap synergies, then assemble one of many infinite mana combos (Palinchron + Deadeye Navigator, Peregrine Drake + Emiel the Blessed, etc.). With infinite mana, the deck wins by bouncing all opposing permanents with Capsize (buyback) or destroying all artifacts/enchantments with Aura Shards, then attacking with Derevi and other creatures. Secondary paths include a Stasis soft-lock backed by Derevi's untap triggers, and combat damage via Finest Hour extra combats. The deck is highly resilient, with most combos living entirely in the 99, and it packs a dense interaction suite to protect its game-winning turns.
