New Untitled Deck by star2005

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan toughness-matters deck puts a small, high-toughness army into play and turns every blocker or beater into a damage-dealing wall. Doran, Besieged by Time is the commander but not the only engine: the deck includes Doran, the Siege Tower, Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, Felothar the Steadfast, and Huatli, so the toughness-damage plan works even without the commander. Doran, Besieged by Time is used as a cost-reducer for oversized defensive creatures, and his combat trigger makes low-power/high-toughness bodies much swingier. Secondary wins come from Catapult Captain's toughness-drain sacrifice, Bet-Million's end-step life drain, and recursion through Nethroi and Colfenor. The hidden engine is the collection of toughness-switch effects rather than any single hidden commander.
