Commander: Splinter, Radical Rat

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Splinter, Radical Rat is a cheap, recastable Esper Ninja engine that doubles every triggered ability of Ninjas you control, turning a single connecting ninjutsu creature into two draws, two drains, two exiles, or two token copies. The deck plays the classic tempo game: an evasive one-drop like Changeling Outcast, Tormented Soul, or Ornithopter attacks, then ninjutsu returns it for a payoff Ninja such as Ingenious Infiltrator or Moon-Circuit Hacker. The hidden engine in the 99 is Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow - her table-wide reveal-and-drain doubles under Splinter - while Satoru Umezawa grants every creature card ninjutsu and digs three deep on each activation. There are no infinite combos; wins come from compounded card advantage and finishers like Shredder, Shadow Master (copy tokens plus doubled half-life triggers) or Krang & Shredder's free-cast Disappear ability. Free interaction - Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick, Flawless Maneuver - shields the kill turn.
