Deck overview

Merieke Ri Berit usually builds a theft-control engine, but this list uses her as a flexible removal/steal piece while the actual strategy is an Esper untap combo. The deck assembles an untap loop-Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal, or Fatestitcher/Pemmin's Aura/Freed from the Real on Lotus Field/Vale-to generate infinite mana and untaps, then drains the library with Staff of Domination and wins with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac. Magosi, the Waterveil plus Rings of Brighthearth and an untapper provides an infinite-turn hard lock as a backup. Merieke denies blockers and valuable threats; redundancy is high because every untapper, tutor, and mana engine overlaps.
