Deck overview

This deck leverages Rukarumel, Biologist to bridge the Sliver and Phyrexian creature types, merging keyword-sharing Sliver abilities with lethal toxic and poisonous mechanics. Early turns focus on ramping into all five colors using mana dorks such as Birds of Paradise, Gemhide Sliver, and Manaweft Sliver. By Turn 4, the deck establishes its engine by casting Rukarumel or key tribal facilitators like Herald's Horn and Pyre of Heroes. The primary win condition revolves around a rapid poison clock: cards like Virulent Sliver and Bloated Contaminator combine with evasion from Cloudshredder Sliver or Shifting Sliver and damage doubling from Bonescythe Sliver to stack 10 poison counters on each opponent. The deck protects its aggressive board with Crystalline Sliver, Grand Abolisher, and Heroic Intervention, while running efficient interaction like Assassin's Trophy and Toxic Deluge to handle opposing threats.
