Deck overview

This Rakdos deck operates as an aggressive Goblin aristocrats and token engine led by The Great Goblin. The strategy revolves around flooding the battlefield with Goblin tokens, sacrificing them for mana and card velocity, and weaponizing death triggers alongside counter placements. The Great Goblin converts every counter placed on Goblins into direct damage while turning creature deaths into impulsive card exile. Supported by explosive burst mana like Dark Ritual, Culling the Weak, and Brightstone Ritual, the deck rapidly establishes an operational board by Turn 4. From there, it threatens the table on Turn 5 through exponential token swarms from Krenko, Mob Boss, explosive creature cheating with Muxus, Goblin Grandee, or three-piece persist loops using Putrid Goblin and Metallic Mimic. Opponents face lethal combat damage or fatal non-combat drain by Turn 6. While vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and graveyard disruption, the deck maintains high redundancy, cheap reanimation, and robust independence from its commander.
