Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Golgari Elf tribal strategy focused on rapidly developing mana and establishing an overwhelming board presence. Lathril, Blade of the Elves leads the charge by generating Elf Warrior tokens whenever she deals combat damage, quickly multiplying the creature count. The primary route to victory is overwhelming combat damage powered by potent overrun effects such as Coat of Arms, Garruk Wildspeaker, and Tyvar, the Pummeler. When board stalls occur or opponents assemble formidable defenses, Lathril provides a reliable secondary win condition by tapping ten untapped Elves to directly drain each opponent for ten life each turn.
