Deck overview

This deck is a Naya midrange strategy commanded by Rocco, Street Chef. It turns impulse exile plays into an engine that generates +1/+1 counters and Food tokens. Early turns focus on ramping out Rocco by Turn 3 to begin exiling cards for all players. Starting on Turn 4, casting exiled cards triggers token creation and steadily grows the board. The deck scales its advantage using token multipliers like Peregrin Took and Academy Manufactor, alongside mana converters such as Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Night of the Sweets' Revenge. Victory is achieved either by overrunning opponents with evasive, counter-loaded creatures or by assembling an un-tutored two-card infinite combo with Rosie Cotton of South Lane and Scurry Oak or Basking Broodscale to produce infinite creatures and colorless mana.
