Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Azorius stax-control list designed to suppress fast multiplayer tables and assemble a protected infinite combo. Led by Willie Lumpkin, Postman, who provides unblockable chip card advantage and a defensive combat deterrent, the 99 is built around dense fast mana, premier free countermagic, and asymmetric stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Rule of Law, and Winter Orb. The deck breaks parity on resource denial through powerful draw engines like Mystic Remora and Rhystic Study, then closes the game using an Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal loop to generate infinite mana for Walking Ballista.
