New Untitled Deck by user5430000

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist is the engine and payoff of a defender/toughness deck. The primary plan is to land Arcades by turn four, deploy 0-power walls, use their ETB triggers to draw, and turn their toughness into lethal combat damage. Secondary lines rely on the deck's copycat effects-High Alert, Assault Formation, Huatli, Wakestone Gargoyle, Walking Bulwark-and on the Axebane Guardian + High Alert infinite-mana engine. Win conditions include a massive Towering Titan, a Baldin mass pump, or a wide wall/Wingmantle Chaplain attack. The commander has no alternate face or hidden partner; the deck is built around Arcades's static ability, with other toughness-matters cards as redundancy.
