Deck overview

This Temur (GUR) deck built around Loot, the Pathfinder is a value-driven midrange control deck that leverages landfall triggers, instant-speed interaction, and the commander's three exhaust abilities for mana, card draw, and direct damage. The primary game plan is to ramp into Loot early, activate his green exhaust for a burst of three mana, then use that mana to deploy landfall engines like Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Sab-Sunen, Luxa Embodied. The deck aims to out-value opponents through repeated card draw, landfall payoffs, and a dense suite of counterspells and removal. The win condition is incremental combat damage from Loot (double strike, haste) and other large creatures, eventually overwhelming the table. The deck lacks a fast combo finish, relying on grinding out advantages over many turns.
