Deck overview

This mono-red storm deck leverages Zada, Hedron Grinder alongside a dense package of low-cost pingers and mana dorks. Rather than relying on traditional Goblin token producers, the deck establishes early battlefield presence with creatures like Thermo-Alchemist, Firebrand Archer, Erebor Flamesmith, and Guttersnipe. Once Zada enters play on turn 4, targeted 1-mana and 2-mana cantrips such as Crimson Wisps, Expedite, and Ancestral Anger copy across every creature on board, generating explosive card draw and storm count. The engine converts mass card velocity into mana using Battle Hymn, Ancestors' Aid, and Sudden Breakthrough. Opponents face fatal simultaneous damage from repeated noncreature triggers, pinger tap-untap loops, and trampling combat strikes buffed by Fists of Flame. While the deck exhibits blistering goldfish potential and compact same-turn finishes on turn 5, it is heavily reliant on Zada's presence and carries minimal protection against non-blue spot removal and board sweepers.
