Deck overview

This deck uses Sheoldred, the Apocalypse as both a life buffer and a punishment engine. Extra-draw cards such as Black Market Connections, Font of Mythos, Howling Mine, and Teferi's Puzzle Box pressure opponents while replenishing resources. The principal supported finish is Sheoldred, the Apocalypse with Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond. An opponent's draw starts an infinite life-loss loop, but the three-card setup is expensive and tutor access is limited. The deck therefore has meaningful late-game inevitability rather than a fast ordinary goldfish. Removal is strongest against creatures and graveyards, while enchantment, artifact, and stack interaction are sparse. Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, Black Market, and Bolas's Citadel provide a stronger late-game mana and card engine, but they do not consistently accelerate the primary combo into the early turns.
