Deck overview

Soundwave is an Esper token-midrange engine. The front face copies instants and sorceries from opponents' graveyards after token damage, while the back face creates Ravage and Laserbeak tokens whenever you cast odd/even spells, so the deck wants a wide board plus a stream of noncreature spells. The primary plan is to bank tokens from Adeline and Endless Foot Assault, multiply production with Exalted Sunborn or Bard, King of Dale, and turn the army lethal with Inspiring Leader, Caretaker's Talent, and Champions from Beyond. Secondary paths are Soundwave's graveyard-copy value and incidental drain from Mirkwood Bats and Kambal. There is no hidden commander; Exalted Sunborn and Bard act as force multipliers rather than a second command zone.
