Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs low-cost deathtouch creatures with aristocrats sacrifice engines, led by The Serpent Society. In the early turns, it deploys efficient deathtouch creatures and mana acceleration to cast its commander ahead of schedule. Once assembled, any deathtouch creature that dies in combat or to a sacrifice outlet triggers asymmetric edicts against all opponents. This continuous attrition clears opposing blockers while protecting your life total. The deck converts this board advantage into victory using Fynn, the Fangbearer for rapid poison kills, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest for massive +1/+1 counters, Hooded Blightfang for life drain, or Triumph of the Hordes for an overrun finish. Built-in ward on the commander and low-cost rebirth spells provide resilience against targeted removal.
