Deck overview

This deck is a mid-power Izzet spellslinger deck built around Rootha, Mastering the Moment. The primary strategy focuses on converting high-cost instant and sorcery spells into massive, evasive Elemental tokens with flying and haste. Supported by cost-reducers, token multipliers like Determined Iteration and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, and explosive spells like Surge to Victory, the deck transitions from ramp and spellcasting into a formidable aerial beatdown plan. In addition to wide combat lines, the deck contains an alternate infinite line utilizing Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to finish games without passing priority. The deck operates smoothly with efficient mana velocity and solid filtering, though its reliance on combat damage leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and heavy creature interaction.
