Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck leverages aggressively statted, low-mana creatures to rapidly reduce the casting cost of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan opens with one- and two-mana ramp to deploy efficient high-power threats like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable on turns two and three. Once total board power exceeds ten, Ghalta enters the battlefield for just two green mana as early as turn four. Supported by power-based card draw engines such as Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Rishkar's Expertise, the deck replenishes its hand while applying overwhelming trample pressure. Finishers like Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Thickest in the Thicket amplify board power to eliminate opponents within two attack cycles. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and heavy creature removal, the deck's extreme functional redundancy of beaters and efficient protection spells allow it to maintain an aggressive clock even through disruption.
