Rhys with her spoon by caveman

Format: Commander

Commander: Rhys the Redeemed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Selesnya tokens deck, commanded by Rhys the Redeemed, is a classic go-wide strategy that overwhelms opponents with an exponentially growing army. The primary game plan is to deploy token generators (Emmara, Soul of the Accord, Hornet Queen, Secure the Wastes, etc.), multiply them with Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Anointed Procession, and then finish with mass pump spells like Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, or Akroma's Will. Rhys's second activated ability doubles every token in play for six mana, creating a crushingly wide board in a single turn. The deck eschews infinite combos, relying instead on combat inevitability through overwhelming numbers, combined with a fair amount of spot removal and board protection to survive the midgame. ---
