Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity 5-color Dragon tribal deck commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan leverages Eminence to discount high-impact Dragons right from the command zone, allowing the deck to jump ahead on curve. By combining robust 2-CMC ramp and cost reducers with premier dragon enablers like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Hellkite Courser, and Tiamat, the deck rapidly constructs an imposing airborne army. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5 through devastating payoffs such as Utvara Hellkite, Atarka, World Render, Old Gnawbone, and Terror of the Peaks, which apply massive combat pressure and direct damage. The table finish is achieved on Turn 6 either through overwhelming flying combat damage or the infinite combat loop of Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault. The deck's primary resilience lies in an exceptional suite of instant phasing spells like Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment, completely neutralizing opposing board wipes and preserving critical tempo.
