Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai Elf +1/+1 counter deck that turns the graveyard into an activated-ability toolbox. The primary plan is to ramp into Thranduil, fill the graveyard with key Elves such as Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Lathril, Blade of the Elves, then use Thranduil to generate infinite mana and drain the table. Secondary paths are wide Elf combat with counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal) and Ezuri, Claw of Progress. The hidden lieutenant is Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally, which provides an Elf lord, landfall tokens, and a mill-four adventure that fuels the graveyard. Thranduil's own draw-two-discard-one trigger also helps stock the yard while finding pieces.
