Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck harnesses Fire Lord Azula to convert combat steps into explosive storm turns. By attacking with Azula, the deck generates firebending mana and duplicates any spell cast while she is attacking. It leverages low-cost mana rocks, rituals, and instant-speed draw spells to churn through the library rapidly. The deck wins by chaining doubled spells into lethal burn triggers with Guttersnipe, recurring the graveyard with Underworld Breach and Past in Flames, or resolving the two-card combo of Dualcaster Mage and Sublime Epiphany. High card velocity and flexible flash enablers like Borne Upon a Wind allow the deck to pivot smoothly between explosive combat bursts and reactive interaction.
