Deck overview

This Temur storm and swarm deck uses Xyris, the Writhing Storm to convert symmetrical wheel effects into an overwhelming army of Snake tokens and massive card advantage. By accelerating into Xyris on Turn 3 and resolving a wheel like Wheel of Fortune or Windfall on Turn 4, the deck generates twenty-one 1/1 Snake creature tokens while drawing seven fresh cards. These tokens instantly fuel explosive mana generation through Gaea's Cradle and Phyrexian Altar, or trigger direct table-wide burn via Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors. Free countermagic such as Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protects the commander and key spells during critical turns. If combat is required, team-wide pump effects like Beastmaster Ascension and Shared Animosity turn the token swarm into lethal combat damage across all three opponents on Turn 5. Backup storm lines powered by Underworld Breach ensure resilience even if the commander is removed.
