Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy led by Yuna, Grand Summoner, focusing on compounding +1/+1 counters, keyword counters, and proliferate mechanics. The deck develops early mana creatures such as Incubation Druid and Gyre Sage, deploying Yuna on Turn 3 or 4 to supercharge incoming threats with bonus counters. Midgame play revolves around stacking counters with engines like Brokers Ascendancy and Forgotten Ancient, while drawing cards through Fathom Mage, Bred for the Hunt, and Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide, evasive combat damage granted by Duskshell Crawler, Sphere Grid, Rikku, Resourceful Guardian, and Chocobo Knights, or via an asymmetric Damning Verdict. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, the deck maintains resilience through shield counters, death protection, and a natural-draw infinite mana combo with Incubation Druid and Freed from the Real.
