Deck overview

Anim Pakal is a Boros token-and-counters aggro deck built to turn each attack into a growing board of tapped Gnome tokens. The primary plan is to attack with Anim Pakal and other non-Gnome creatures every turn, stacking +1/+1 counters to multiply the token count, while anthems, pings, and extra combat steps convert the swarm into lethal damage. Secondary paths use token producers like Heroic Reinforcements and Sunhome Guildmage, plus ping engines (Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, Reckless Fireweaver) to burn opponents even when combat is stalled. The commander is the generator and counter engine, but the deck can still assemble a wide board without it, just more slowly.
