Cloudy with a Chance of Thunder (Magic) Storms by user9518233

Deck overview

This cEDH deck leverages Vivi Ornitier as an explosive storm engine and mana generator in the command zone. By enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or pairing it with Tandem Lookout, every noncreature spell triggers Vivi to deal 1 damage to each opponent, netting 3 card draws per cast. As Vivi grows, its {0} ability converts accumulated power into large bursts of blue and red mana, sustaining noncreature spell chains without tapping out. The deck integrates premier cEDH fast mana, high-efficiency cantrips, and free interaction like Force of Will and Deflecting Swat to protect its win turns. Alternate win conditions include Underworld Breach loops with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, Quicksilver Elemental infinite mana activations, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun combos. Capable of winning on Turn 3 with zero opponent response cycles, the deck executes with blistering speed and format-ceiling resilience.
