Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated mono-green Bear-tribal list helmed by Ayula, Queen Among Bears, a cheap 2/2 that turns every other Bear into either a growing threat (two +1/+1 counters) or a removal spell (a fight effect). The primary game plan is to flood the board with cheap, mostly vanilla Bears - Grizzly Bears, Runeclaw Bear, Alpine Grizzly and their kin - and let Ayula's triggers rapidly pump the team while picking off opposing creatures. The deck leans heavily on +1/+1 counter synergies from Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, The Ozolith, the Shattered Spire and Defiler of Vigor to turn a swarm of 2/2s into a real clock. Card advantage comes from Beast Whisperer, Tribute to the World Tree, Garruk's Uprising, and Toski, Bearer of Secrets. The finishers are overrun effects like Preposterous Proportions and Unnatural Growth, which can close out the game in one massive combat step. The deck contains no infinite combos and relies entirely on combat damage to win.
