Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (non-green) Polymorph and Token Control strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on establishing an early token engine using cheap permanents like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller, followed by casting Jace on Turn 4. By activating Jace's [-3] loyalty ability, the deck sacrifices low-investment tokens to cheat massive game-ending creatures and planeswalkers directly from the library onto the battlefield. Payoffs like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, and Serra's Emissary generate immediate board advantage, life drain, and protection. Secondary engines such as Mass Polymorph, Synthetic Destiny, and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer provide backup routes to transform wide token boards into lethal swarms. Supported by efficient white spot removal and board sweepers, the deck controls the pace of play while closing out games over multiple combat cycles.
