Deck overview

This Gruul Artifact Stompy deck leverages Aerid Konstrari to blend artifact token generation with explosive combat steps. By combining low-cost ramp with tokens like Heartwoods, Treasures, Foods, and Clues, the deck quickly builds a dense artifact count on the battlefield. It transitions into the midgame by deploying powerful overrun threats, including Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, and Xenagos, God of Revels, which convert wide artifact boards into lethal trample damage. Draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Idol of Oblivion maintain card flow, while commander death triggers ensure resilient mana recovery after board wipes. While it lacks stack-based countermagic and hard lockouts, its high mana velocity and redundant heavy hitters present continuous pressure that can eliminate a pod across two combat rotations.
