Leo and Mikey by ayjay

Format: Commander

Creator: ayjay

Commander: Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color deck pairs Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to create an aggressive +1/+1 counter and token engine. Michelangelo attacks early to generate Food tokens and distribute counters, which directly triggers Leonardo to place counters across the entire board once each turn. The deck accelerates this engine using counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace, converting battlefield growth into overwhelming card advantage and mana through cards like Ray Fillet, Wave Warrior and Rishkar, Peema Renegade. You close games either through massive combat damage buffed by Overwhelming Stampede, Raphael, the Muscle, or Leonardo's five-color anthem activation, or via alternate win conditions like Simic Ascendancy.
