Durin's Folk - Dáin of the Ancient Halls (The Hobbit Precon) by TheAceWheelie

Format: Commander

Commander: Dwalin, Weaponmaster

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Boros Dwarf/Equipment midrange built to load Dwalin, Weaponmaster with hone-stacked Equipment and turn him into a lethal commander-damage clock. Dwalin is the primary beatdown body because his attack trigger is the engine; the rest of the deck feeds that trigger. Magda, Brazen Outlaw functions as the hidden commander: Dwarf taps create Treasures and five Treasures tutor expensive Equipment directly onto the battlefield. Secondary paths go wide with Dwarf lords, token generation, and Dain of the Ancient Halls, who pings every opponent per attack. Dain Ironfoot and Reyav convert hone counters into double-strike one-shots; wipes and artifact destruction are the main risks. The deck has no infinite mana outlet and no registered combo, so winning requires three lethal commander swings or a Dwarf-board critical mass.
