Teysa by user8143837

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Teysa Karlov leads an Orzhov aristocrats deck that converts creature deaths into life loss and card advantage. The primary plan is an Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Reassembling Skeleton (or Oathsworn Vampire) loop with a drain payoff like Blood Artist or Bastion of Remembrance; Teysa doubles every death trigger. Secondary paths include a Darkest Hour + Teysa, Orzhov Scion token/drain engine, plus grind via Lurrus, Sun Titan, and Skullclamp. Sorin of House Markov offers extort-lifegain and can flip into a planeswalker to close long games. The commander is a force multiplier rather than a required piece, but her doubling is what turns modest sacrifice chains into lethal drains.
