Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon Tribal engine commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. It focuses on accelerating mana during the early turns to deploy Miirym ahead of curve on turn 4 or 5. Once on the battlefield, Miirym duplicates every subsequent nontoken Dragon, producing overwhelming battlefield presence and compounding enter-the-battlefield triggers. Cards like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert these duplicated entries into massive direct damage, while haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy allow lethal aerial attacks the turn creatures arrive. Card draw engines such as Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising keep the hand full by drawing two cards per Dragon cast. The deck runs a robust interaction suite and targeted protection spells to shield its high-value threats from removal.
