Doran by Jarbo

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doran, Besieged by Time is a toughness-matters midrange deck that uses the commander's cost reduction and attack/block pump to deploy oversized creatures. The main plan is to assemble a high-toughness board-usually anchored by The Walls of Ba Sing Se-then finish through Betor, Kin to All's end-step life loss doubled by Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Doran, the Siege Tower acts as a hidden commander for toughness combat, while Unnatural Growth and Akroma's Will provide a beatdown backup. Cheat effects such as Elvish Piper, Defense of the Heart, and Last March of the Ents accelerate the big pieces, and a compact Bolas's Citadel/Aetherflux loop offers an independent combo finish.
