Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a Jeskai legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck that wins through free instant and sorcery casts. The primary plan uses Gandalf's combat trigger - free spell value scales with twice the number of legendary Wizards - to generate card advantage and mana while building toward combo finishes. Secondary paths include Niv-Mizzet infinite draw/damage, Approach of the Second Sun with tutors, Panoptic Mirror plus Time Warp/Nexus of Fate extra-turn lock, and Thousand-Year Storm storm turns with Grapeshot/Brain Freeze. Gandalf is value, not combo piece; the hidden engines are Niv-Mizzet, Parun/Visionary and Mizzix of the Izmagnus, which actually close games.
