Deck overview

This is a mono-black storm-combo deck built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The primary game plan uses K'rrik to convert life into black mana and card advantage, then assemble one of several compact win conditions: the Chain of Smog/Professor Onyx magecraft loop, Aetherflux Reservoir life-storm kill, Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion mass drain, or Necrotic Ooze + Asmodeus the Archfiend/Skirge Familiar infinite-mana lines. The deck leans heavily on graveyard-based tutors (Entomb, Fiend Looking), reusable recursion (Chainer, Dementia Master, Reanimate), and raw draw (Necropotence, Vilis, Broker of Blood) to find its pieces. K'rrik's ability to pay life for black mana effectively discounts every black spell, making it cheap chain multiple spells in a single turn. The list carries 27 basic Swamps and a modest artifact ramp suite to ensure consistent early deployment.
