Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jund Aristocrats and Midrange Sacrifice strategy helmed by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. The game plan revolves around generating expendable creature tokens and recurring permanents, then converting them through sacrifice outlets into overwhelming card draw, massive +1/+1 counters on Korvold, and table-wide life drain. In the early turns, the deck sets up mana acceleration and token engines like Ophiomancer and Pawn of Ulamog. Once Korvold resolves on Turn 4, every sacrifice replaces itself with fresh cards, allowing the pilot to rapidly dig through the library for game-ending payoffs like Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. The deck leverages flexible removal and asymmetric wipes such as Culling Ritual to derail opponents while fueling explosive turns. It closes games through a combination of lethal commander damage in the air and inescapable death triggers from aristocrat drain permanents.
