Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph commands an Izzet spellslinger and pinger deck designed to turn minor 1-damage triggers into lethal 3-damage bursts. The game plan relies on deploying cheap pingers like Thermo-Alchemist and Electrostatic Field, casting Ghyrson on curve, and unleashing low-cost spells and asymmetric sweepers such as End the Festivities and Blazing Volley. With Ghyrson on the battlefield, these 1-damage board wipes deal 3 damage to every opposing creature and planeswalker, systematically eradicating opposing utility creatures, tokens, and mana dorks while dealing severe burn damage to opponents.
