Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a high-velocity Sultai combo deck built around a zero-basic Hermit Druid engine and dense Elf synergy. Using format-ceiling fast mana and 1-drop mana dorks, the deck consistently deploys Hermit Druid on Turn 2 and activates it on Turn 3 to mill its entire library in a single action. With all creature cards in the graveyard, Thranduil—or Agatha's Soul Cauldron—inherits the activated abilities of Devoted Druid, Bloom Tender, Timberwatch Elf, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. This generates infinite colored mana and arbitrarily large power before sacrificing a pumped creature to drain all three opponents for lethal damage simultaneously. If the primary Hermit Druid line is disrupted, the deck seamlessly pivots to a compact, independent Thassa's Oracle and Tainted Pact win condition with zero turns of delay. Supported by Allosaurus Shepherd and Veil of Summer, the deck combines Turn 3 speed with excellent resilience.
