Commander: Eluge, the Shoreless Sea

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Eluge, the Shoreless Sea is a mono-blue spellslinger-control deck built around flooding lands so the first instant or sorcery of each turn becomes nearly free. The plan is to land Eluge on turn 4, stack flood counters via his ETB and attack triggers (plus Aquitect's Will and The Flood of Mars), then chain enormous draw spells - Blue Sun's Zenith, Flow of Ideas, Finale of Revelation - at deep discounts behind a ten-counterspell control suite. Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, Metallurgic Summonings, and Shark Typhoon convert every spell into flying tokens as a secondary axis. The primary kill is an infinite in the 99: Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring generates infinite mana, which Blue Sun's Zenith converts into decking all three opponents. Backup wins are islandwalk beats from The Flood of Mars or an unblockable Eluge via Rogue's Passage.
