Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive combat engine that pairs commander Aurelia, the Warleader with a resilient tribal package of flying Angels and combat-step multipliers. The primary game plan develops efficient evasive creatures on early turns, ramps into Aurelia on Turn 5, and immediately triggers additional combat phases to deal overwhelming aerial damage. Damage doublers such as Blade Historian, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and True Conviction drastically compress the damage clock, eliminating opponents over two subsequent combat cycles to close on Turn 7. The deck also includes an infinite combat combo in Aggravated Assault paired with Sword of Feast and Famine. It protects its critical combat turns using Grand Abolisher, Boros Charm, and equipment while maintaining high-impact removal like Swords to Plowshares and Farewell to disrupt opposing plans.
