Deck overview

This Sultai deck merges Elf and Faerie kindred synergies under Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The early game focuses on developing mana ramp, filtering cards via scry and surveil, and establishing low-cost creatures. On turn 5, Maralen hits the board, exiling opposing cards and converting them into free spell casts based on your kindred creature count. The midgame leverages +1/+1 counter distributions from Gladehart Cavalry, token generation from Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and creature attrition from High Perfect Morcant. Without relying on infinite combos or fast mana, the deck seeks victory through compounding board advantage and steady combat pressure across multiple turns. While resilient against single-target interaction through graveyard recursion like Muldrotha, the Gravetide, its reliance on multi-turn combat leaves it open to sweepers.
