Deck overview

This mono-black deck revolves around Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast, turning opposing creature deaths into massive commander growth and aggressive pressure. The strategy deploys symmetric sacrifice creatures like Fleshbag Marauder, Accursed Marauder, and Plaguecrafter, which clear opposing boards while Vincent absorbs +1/+1 counters equal to the power of all dying opposing creatures. When Vincent attacks, he transforms into Galian Beast, gaining trample and lifelink to push through blockers and recover life totals. Backed by resilient 'undying' protection spells, equipment like The Masamune and Blade of the Bloodchief, and top-end finishers like Massacre Wurm and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, the deck dominates creature combat while stripping away opposing resources.
