Harder Faster Dragons by user7557462

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Temur Dragon deck helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten is a high-value, cheat-into-play strategy that floods the battlefield with oversized dragons at instant speed-through the command zone. The commander's entry or attack triggers a dig eight deep, putting a Dragon from among them directly onto the board, free and uncounterable. The "99" reinforces this with additional repeatable cheat effects (Defense of the Heart, Hellkite Courser, Smuggler's Surprise), devastating combat payoffs (Twinflame Tyrant, Terror of the Peaks), and a robust "big creatures matter" package that generates treasure, extra combats, and draws. The primary game plan is to accelerate into Ureni, start chain-cheating dragons, and close the game with overwhelming board presence, amplified by extra-combat effects like Scourge of the Throne and Desert Were-Worm.
