Deck overview

This Golgari Food/Troll midrange deck treats Tom, Bert, and William as a repeatable draw engine, sacrificing high-power creatures to dig deep into the library. The primary win is combat: ramp to five mana, cast TBW, feed it a monster such as Yargle and Multani or Daemogoth Titan, then deploy trampling threats and finish with Overwhelming Stampede or a Mossbridge Troll activation. Secondary lines use Mirkwood Bats plus token multiplication from Peregrin Took, Bilbo, and Academy Manufactor to drain the table. When TBW dies it returns as an artifact, and Karn, Tough Cookie, or Lifecraft Awakening can animate it again, giving the deck a built-in rebuild. Hidden commanders are the Yargles, who serve as giant draw batteries.
